As for further insights, we'll have to see what I can come up with. If anything. Thought KimiKiss was different in setup than the normal romance show (introduce characters, stall, stall, stall, stall, drama!, stall, stall, stall, excitement!, stall...) and the way it kicks into action like a mecha show (Gurren Lagann is my reference, being my only true experience) is something I didn't think of. I hope to see more interesting insights like this from the other side of the divide as you continue to watch KimiKiss. *waves around MOE flag* Heh, I liked this. The pacing of the second half of the episode and especially the paper plane and the final shot reminded me strongly of the way that the initial episodes of a lot of mecha series I've seen are structured.
